Spicy ginger beef and dumplings are the way to go. So hot but so good, and the sauce that comes with the dumplings is amazing. You're in and out in on time and this place is well know for its wor wonton soup as well.

Pho is the coziest bowl of soup any one could ask for on a rainy day. I came in and the place was absolutely empty, which wasn't a problem. The waitress was very friendly and kind, and the service was quick. The meal was moderately priced. Personally, I found the soup a tad bit too salty for my liking, which made me miss the other flavours that normally pull the dish together. It was also quite westernized (or altered to adapt to Canadians taste-buds), but that is to be expected at most places. I would also suggest that the bean sprouts and other additional vegetables and herbs be served on the side, so that the customers are able to add as much as they like on their Pho. But all in all, it was not a bad experience.

Stopped by here on our trip to Vancouver Island...

One of the few Vietnamese (and Chinese) restaurants in Courtenay, Pho Maple Noodle House serves average-tasting pho catered to a Canadian palate, with little noodle customization available (only vermicelli, no egg noodles... boo). The Singapore Fried Noodles were really good, and everything is cheap with big portions. If I lived in the area, I would eat here, but I'm too spoiled by good pho in Vancouver.

Number 21 was not good at all
Cold congealed rice noodles with 4 tiny dried out pieces of chicken and 1 spring roll which was the size of a golf pencil
Underneath this mess was 4 slivers of cucumber and some wilted lettuce

The sauce that was to be poured over was bland and too much fish sauce that had seen better days
3 hours later my stomach is rumbling and I have a bad burning taste at the back of my throat.
The other dishes around me looked ok so maybe I just ordered the wrong dish?
